AbbeyGate is a consultancy specializing in wholesale distribution technology. Abbey is our flagship AI-native ERP platform—built for wholesale distributors who need a modern alternative to legacy systems. GuestCheck, our mobile ordering app, is another product offering.
We're not a solution in search of a problem. We're founders that have spent our careers suffering the failures of enterprise software, and have a vision for how AI can finally help solve them.

Chris Gilmore
Co-Founder
Chris is Chief AI Strategist for Salesforce's Private Equity Practice, with 18+ years building enterprise software—from architecting AppExchange products as a Salesforce ISV partner to leading large-scale implementations at ClickSoftware (SAP integrations, field services, workforce management). That combination—AI strategy at the world's largest CRM vendor, plus hands-on experience shipping integrated enterprise platforms—is what uniquely positioned him to build Abbey. He knows how legacy ERP fails because he's spent his career implementing and extending it; now he's building the alternative.
Chris DiNoto
Co-Founder
Chris started GuestCheck to fix a problem he saw while running his own wholesale company. After leaving a career with an inventory management tech firm, he set out to expand his own wholesale company. The result was an unmanageable influx of daily calls, emails, and text messages. He created GuestCheck with his lifelong friend to make it easier for customers to order, review information, and settle invoices. Chris brings 50+ years of collective distribution experience and direct networks with 50+ key distributors.

The Origin of Our Name
AbbeyGate is named after Abbey Gate at Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul. In 2021, Chris DiNoto led a rescue effort to evacuate Afghan interpreters who had worked alongside U.S. Marines—including Karim Ahmadi, who had served as his translator during his deployment.
